The equipment is used to increase efficiency of livestock sector at the expense of daily weight gain of young piglets.Prophylactic irradiation of sucking and weanling pigs is done in automated regime by means of optical radiation effect done in 2 biologically active spectral ranges: erythemic ultraviolet range and optical red spectrum line range.The application of this technology in a piggery of 300 heads increases the produce of fork up to 1 ton of live weight during the incubation period (90–105 days). Besides, power input becomes 3–5 lower in comparison with basic process.
